learn to sew {tutorial series}

A few Christmases ago I got a sewing machine for a gift. I've always thought it would be fun to learn to sew but thought it might be too complicated and always thought it a little intimidating- I soon found that not to be true!

I taught myself to sew and a whole world of possibilities opened up for me! I want to encourage you... if you have the same mindset as I had to try sewing. It's amazing what you can do...

My favorite is finding what I like in a store and either re-creating it myself {for the fraction of the price} or getting some ideas and making something perfect for what I need. I also love being original and creating something totally new. 

I'm not a professional, but I'm going to start a tutorial series on what I know- starting at the very basics! I'll also include some of my favorite tips. Sewing is something anyone can learn!

The tutorial series will be once every few weeks, but will be compiled into a page so it can be easy to find. I'll start with simple things and work my way up. If you'd like to see something, please let me know! Hope you are inspired and excited to learn!
