ReplyDeletethe thing I love most about being a mother is the joy I have in knowing I get to play a part in bringing about God's plan for these little people we made. That's the best domestic project I can think of! :-)
What I love most about being a mom is just getting to see my daughter's personality. I love to see every little quirk and weird habit she has--some of which she got from us and some of which she inherited from her eternal Papa. Many times I find myself thinking, "Who are you child? Surely you had to learn that from someone, but it sure wasn't me!" She makes me laugh more than any other person. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I love most about being a mom is that I have so many opportunities for reward in heaven. Each time one of my children asks me for a drink, I get to do it unto Jesus. My patience is tested a million times a day and I get a million opportunities to respond with grace and humility. It is absolutely the hardest job on this earth but the most rewarding as well!!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the tea-and-crumpets apron in yellow.
Thanks so much Kelly! You are awesome!!!
From Cathy via Facebook: I love being a mom, and grandmom, the best part is memories! I love my children, love when they were home with me,and hated to see the go. Now I love it even more when they are home! They are incredible. If you don;t know my kiddos, you should get to know them, you are missing out on a lot of great memories!

I'm a mother! I follow your blog and on FB(kelly C)
ReplyDeleteThe thing I love most about being a mother is that it's a full time job. And at the end of the day the payment for that job is nothing but pure love. And I'm thankful that God picked her to be my daughter!

I love Anthropologie! And I love being a mom. I love every minute that I get to spend with my little girl and I love watching her personality start to peek out even at such a young age.
ReplyDeleteI like the Jitterbug Apron the best. The kids ones are so cute too! I love being a mother. My two little girls bring so much joy into my life! I love being able to pour God's love into them and to care and love them. I really love all the hugs and kisses and giggles too :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a mom, and I follow your blog and the things I enjoy most about being a mom is seeing how my kids take in the world around them and seeing how they learn and seeing their personalities developing. Relishing in the "little things" everyday is what spurs me on! The apron giveaway is a great idea!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat I love most about being a mother is that you get to see the world (again) through your child's eyes. It is a great reminder of just how great life it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great mother's day giveaway! I love the cute aprons, and if I win, I'm going to have a tough time choosing! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about motherhood...that's a toughie! I think when looking at the bigger picture, the thing I love most about motherhood has also been one of the most difficult. It's the way that motherhood exposes my weakness and forces me to lean into God. As far as the moment-to-moment experience of motherhood, the thing that never fails to bring joy to my heart is when one of my kids does something that demonstrates that they are really getting what I'm trying to instill in them. When they start singing spontaneous songs of worship unprompted, alone in their room. Or when they comfort their sister with tenderness. Or when they catch themselves starting to disobey, and then quickly change direction without external pressure. Certainly doesn't happen every day. But when it does, it thrills my heart every time :)
I just found out that i am pregnant, cant wait to receive the worlds greatest joy.
ReplyDeleteThis aprons are adorable and even if i don't win, i'll buy one.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things about motherhood is the invitation to wonder- wonder at the world as it looks through his eyes, wonder at the way he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and wonder at how great my own parents are! Thanks for the giveaway. They're all so beautiful, and somehow I had missed that Anthropologie made aprons! I really like the 3-D Toile Full Apron.
ReplyDeleteI love the Baker's Delight Apron, I also follow via GFC(logans_momma09)!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love most about being a mommy to my 2 year old son is all of the surprises, there is never a boring day with him and it has given me much more patience. It is very difficult to list why I love being a mom because I can just go on, and on. Motherhood has its ups and down but overall it is amazing.

I LOVE the "Tea and Crumpets" apron.. plus, it would go so well with my blogging "about us" color scheme that I think another photo shoot would be most absolutely necessary. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm pregnant and already possess a 16 month old, so I spend my fair share of time in the kitchen. My favorite thing lately about being a mom has been "cooking" with Amelia - she loves to stir and create recipes with her felt food!

my daughter was a miracle. we had tragically lost our first daughter from a long and stressful delivery and were so happy when we were able to conceive again. My daughter is my life. i love laughing and dancing with her. watching her grow. seeing how she imitates me and tries so hard to be like mommy. i love baking with her and getting covered in flour. i love going on nature hikes and hearing all teh funny names she makes up for plants. I love her smile her laugh and the way she says "thats cool!". I love cuddling with her at night and singing her to sleep. i love everything about being a mother.

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick one thing that I love the most about being his mother. He's an absolute joy - my sunshine. I love the multitude of pictures he draws for me everyday, how often he says "I love you, Mama," the sound of his little voice singing hymns in church, the precious hugs and kisses and more. He's the most amazing person in my life and I love every second of being his mother!
My favorite apron is the HMS Lollipop Apron

I am a mother of two beautiful children. My son will be 5 in August and my daughter will be 3 in August. What I love most about being a mother is hearing all the questions that my children have about life. But, what I love most about them, is that they make me a better person. It truly is a challenge some days, but they really have taught me patience.

I love/hate the heart tearing that happens as your weaknesses are exposed all day long. I never realize the junk in my heart until I was married and the really deep junk until I had kids. It's hard but beautiful. Plus these little bitties are so precious and funny on the really hard days they can always make me laugh somehow.
ReplyDeleteKelly, I told you today and I'll tell you again....I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about being a mom again....besides unconditional love and my reward in heaven, is getting to be a kid again. Like playing Candy Land, my favorite game growing up....I have an excuse to play it again!
