photography
I'm seriously too excited... I finally got a nice camera!
And speaking of beautiful pictures, and really just for fun, I wanted to share with you some photographers who inspire me! {and also just happen to be friends. I think you'll be impressed! I love bragging on these guys...}
Beautiful blog pictures are coming!!!
And let me say too... more on the subject of my blog... that I think it is such a wonderful idea to invest in good photos of your family! We put aside a few hundred dollars a year for really beautiful family pictures and I am SO happy we do! I never regret it! {AND they make GREAT presents!} Both the Steve's listed below have taken our family photos and have done an outstanding job {we look like we could be in a magazine in some of them... seriously!}
Anyway... hope you enjoy!

Brittany is a Chicago girl and has been a great friend of mine for years. She uses an old film SLR camera and does all her own developing! Yeah she's pretty amazing.

coat hanger shelf
Isn't it perfect?? I love it. I'm so making one. {I was just telling Ben yesterday that we need more space for coats!} Want to make one too? They found the plans here.
Oh and for the hooks- instead of paying $3 or $4 a piece, they bought a shelf at Ikea for $5 that had hooks on it and just removed them! So smart!
And one thing I love about it is it's like a mantel. I am really excited about that part of it. {If you recall, we don't have a fireplace}. A place to hang stockings! {And only 10 months till Christmas!}

mommy must-have: best stroller
{This is the start of a series of posts reviewing products- I'll be posting a "mommy must-have" about once a month}
...
Zuriah was two years old when Anah was born. She was still a stroller rider.
So what's the best option for a double stroller?
Here's my pick... and in fact it's my pick for single too.
{One Toddler set-up}
{Two Toddler set-up}
{Toddler- Newborn set up}
This stroller is incredible. It's a little expensive... yes. But SO worth it. Here's why:
- It's a single stroller
- It's a double stroller {with just a pop of the back seat}
- It's very easy to maneuver
- As a double stroller it feels like a single {very easy to get through crowds and clothing racks}
- High re-sale value
- It's cool {I always get comments!}
- It's a jogger {even though I have yet to use it as such}
I love this stroller and recommend it to any new mom expecting to have more than one or a mom with looking for a double stroller. Such a good investment on the front end- you'll have it forever {that is as long as your kiddos need it} then when you're done you can sell it for not too much less than you paid for it.
These strollers are very durable and very versatile. Definitely a mommy-must-have!
