The lecture stand was a gift from my husband's dad after he graduated Bible school- he actually went on the hunt for an antique lecture stand and found one! I don't think I'd have that luck, but we're thankful for it :)Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01825211732149912728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1041820459050859920.post-52664180303573950332011-04-04T00:11:53.635-05:002011-04-04T00:11:53.635-05:00I really love how the postcards turned out. In order to blend the modernness of the room and the new vintage appeal of the desk, I would paint everything except the drawer faces black or a black-brown. Then distress the drawer faces. Since your lamp is petty mod, I'd leave the matching hardware. Where'd you find that lecture stand? It adds a nice touch.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05826734885064170173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1041820459050859920.post-66034696043438416912011-04-01T15:01:14.040-05:002011-04-01T15:01:14.040-05:00Thank you all for your suggestions! I'm not good at visualizing the hardware change though...Katrinahttp://flourishingingrace.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1041820459050859920.post-63753048253418574932011-03-31T14:05:48.941-05:002011-03-31T14:05:48.941-05:00Pale/soft yellow?!
